Voladores de Papantla (1991)
Color, Acrylic. Depicts a traditional Mexican dance where dancers first run around a central pole winding cords tied to their waists around the pole. They then climb the pole and jump from the summit. The dancers dance in midair while “flying” at the ends of the cords as the cords unwind.

The Ark After the Flood (2000)
Iron sculpture. Designed to disassemble into 20 smaller pieces for traveling exhibits. Fully assembled it measures 12’ 9” by 8’ 5”.

Powder-coated steel. Commissioned for the El Paso International Airport by the El Paso, TX city council. Additional installations in sister cities Hondo City, Japan and Encinitas, CA. 4’ in diameter.

Bronze. Commissioned by the Japan Society of San Diego and Tijuana and presented to the city of Hiroshima, Japan. Currently on display at Hiroshima City Hall. 16 ‘ long.
